While you could say that our story is one that’s relatively new, looking back, it’s one been years in the making! Having spent years searching for “the perfect bra” – and also having spent a lot of money on “not-so-perfect” bras, I constantly found myself becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of choice in the area.

Opening a lingerie shop has always been a dream of mine and my sister Miriam’s. We repeatedly told ourselves that the women of east Waterford shouldn’t have to travel to get fitted for good quality, functional, but also beautiful underwear. This niggling dream, and a very strange year, meant that the dream starting gathering momentum (and causing many sleepless nights along the way!). In the words of my husband, “I think it’s an itch that you need to scratch at this stage Power!”.

After getting incredible encouragement from family and friends, and invaluable mentorship from other business owners, I decided that it was time to grab destiny with both hands and just go for it! There was never a question of going outside the beautiful, bustling beach town of Tramore which is only 20 minutes from Waterford City. So needless to say when we visited 13 Queen’s Street, which is perfectly situated between the fabulous Redlane and stunning Satina, it quickly became apparent that this was a no-brainer.

After taking part in extensive fitting training, the time had come to source stockists. Thankfully, our struggle to find “the perfect bra” finally paid off as we were already familiar with best in class brands that are renowned for their quality, fit and support.
